MBA

In the year 1994 institute has got AICTE approval to run MBA Course under the jurisdiction of Pune University (Presently known as Savitribai Phule Pune University).

ELIGIBILITY FOR MBA

·        Candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university (appearing candidates are also eligible).

·        Student should have secured minimum 50% aggregate in graduation (45% in case of reserved category)

·        Candidates must have valid MAH CET/ CMAT/ CAT

·        Admissions under Foreign Nationals / PIO / Children of Employee in Gulf / NRI Category International Students who have a valid Bachelors' Degree or equivalent can apply for admissions under the above category. They will have to complete all formalities stipulated by the concerned authorities from time to time. 

Objectives

·    Graduates of the MBA program will successfully integrate core, cross-functional and inter-disciplinary aspects of management theories, models and frameworks with the real world practices and the sector specific nuances to provide solutions to real world business, policy and social issues in a dynamic and complex world.

·   Graduates of the MBA program will possess excellent communication skills, excel in cross-functional, multidisciplinary, multi-cultural teams, and have an appreciation for local, domestic and global contexts so as to manage continuity, change, risk, ambiguity and complexity.

·     Graduates of the MBA program will be appreciative of the significance of Indian ethos and values in managerial decision making and exhibit value centered leadership.

4) Operations & Supply Chain Management (OSCM)

5) Business Analytics (BA)

The following specializations shall be offered ONLY as MINOR Specializations:

1) Rural & Agribusiness Management (RABM)

2) Pharma & Healthcare Management (PHM)

3) Tourism & Hospitality Management (THM)

 MBA-IT

The knowledge and skills required to plan, design and build complex application software systems are highly valued in all industry sectors including business, health, education and the services. The basic objective of the MBA IT is to provide to the country a steady stream of competent young men and women with the necessary knowledge, skills and foundations for acquiring a wide range of rewarding careers into the rapidly expanding world of Information Technology. In today’s Global Economic scenario highly skilled versatile professionals with all-round approach for problem solving is need of the hour. MBA IT program of SPPU wishes to create such professionals.

In year 1989 institute started MCM Course (presently known as MBA-IT) under the faculty of Management and affiliated to Pune University.

 MBA-HRD

In the year 1986 Institute started MPM (presently known as MBA-HRD), Course  under the faculty of Management and affiliated to Pune University.
